I remember back when my grandmother told me of the equines. They are a elegant species on my planet, running with pride alongside their herd. I remember when she told me that us, the wolves, and these equines were once great companions. She told me a story, the one with Shad, a great wolf hero, and his mate Tseet, a beautiful equine, and the many days an nights they traveled to save the rest of us. A wolf and an equine? It almost seemed impossible. My grandmother did not agree with the constant battle with the equines. The wolves are a powerful species, the dominant one in our world. Horses are second. The humans? Well, that species will die out soon enough because of the virus. They weren't anything like yours on earth. In fact, I like to fly close to their camps on my planet and watch them. Oh, how bad that sickness is affecting the humanoids. By the sound of their conversations, this species will die out soon. Oh yeah, I am different than most other wolves. I am half wolf, half eagle. A shape-shifter or hybrid in our world. So what about my world? It's much smaller than your earth. Only three continents, Orius, Irusia, and Takute. My home continent is Orius, a plains continent. I love the smell of fresh are every morning when I wake up and the joy of running with the grass brushing past my paws. This is my home. This is Areli.
